Dr. Keltie Bartlett
Dr. Keltie Bartlett is a licensed chiropractor and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider. She is a new member at Fall River Chiropractic currently accepting new patients.
Graduating from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics in the Life Sciences stream directed Dr. Keltie toward a career as a chiropractor. A family and personal journey touched by a chiropractor lead to this career path at a young age. Once arriving at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Dr. Keltie learned more about the versatility and treatment options available to chiropractors which further solidified her passion for helping young athletes, their families as those who may not know much about what it is we do.
Her experience as an athlete accentuated a critical eye for how people move and an interest in understanding efficiency and performance. Her personal experience included sports like soccer, track (hurdles and middle distance races), alpine skiing, badminton and others.
Dr. Keltie practices with the Diversified method as well as incorporating essential education and reinforcing exercises that complement the hands-on care you receive in a typical visit. A new and exciting treatment option is Contemporary Acupuncture which helps fine tune muscle-joint-nerve communication as well as manage pain. This is done through typical needle application or Electroacupuncture which delivers a current directly to the dysfunctional muscle or nerves. (Not to worry, Acupuncture is actually quite a pleasant experience).
Other treatment options Dr. Keltie is comfortable using are Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) and Muscle Release Techniques (MRT) and Kinesiotaping, and addressing TMJ (jaw) issues. She also has specialized training to help those with Coccydynia or Tailbone pain.
Each patient deserves a customized treatment plan and will be assessed and offered options for how they would like to be treated.
